Under the coordination of Giresun Family and Social Services Provincial Directorate, Giresun Children’s Fair was organized with private nurseries, day care centers and children’s clubs, which are within the scope of the Directorate’s inspection services. The opening ribbon of the fair, which was opened on Wednesday, April 24, was cut with Deputy Governor Mehmet Fatih Yakinoğlu, Deputy Provincial Director of Family and Social Services Köksal Tiryaki and children.
Family and Social Services Branch Manager Seda Sümer Aydın said in her statement that the ‘Children’s Fair’, which was opened specifically for the ‘April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day’, has become the largest children’s activity and play center in Giresun, and Giresunlu residents will participate in the activities that will continue throughout the day. He expressed that they expect all children to participate and that they are pleased with the intensity of interest in the event. In addition, Apple Candy, Ecology, My Little World, Little Hearts, Joyful Feet, Mind Cube, Maya Academy Day Care Houses, Maya Kids Club and Zuhal Bilim, who contributed to the events, He expressed his gratitude to the Art Children’s Club organizations on behalf of the Provincial Directorate.
There are many activities in the fairground that appeal to children aged 3-16. Table tennis, music workshops, science and nature workshops, mind games, origami, karaoke, basketball, Ferris wheel, art and design workshops, robotic coding, science and technology workshops, kitchen workshops, ecology and recycling workshops are some of these. These areas, where children can benefit from the workshops they want, free of charge, according to their interests, wishes and demands on these special days, have become a center of attraction for children.
In addition to the administrators of the Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services, students studying in pre-school and primary schools also participated in the fair.
