THE FOLLOWING PRAYER CAN BE REACHED FOR THE DIED PERSON:“Allahumme’ğfir lehû verhamhu ve ‘âfihî va’fü ‘anhu ve ekrim nuzulehû ve vessi’ medhalehû vağsil hu bi’l-mâi ve’s-selci ve’l-beredi ve nakkihî mine’l-hatâyâ kemâ yunakka’s-sevbü’l- ebyedu mine’d-denes, And ebdilhü dâran fan min dârihî and ehlen fan min ehlihî and zevcen fan min zevcihî. Ve edhılhü’l-heaven ve e’ızhü min ‘azâbi’l-kabri ev min ‘azâbi’n-nâr.Allahumme’ğfir li-hayyinâ and dead and alive and well-kebirinâ and zekerinâ and unsânâ and witnesses and ghâibinâ. “Allahumma men ahyeytehû minnâ fe ahyihî ale’l-îmân ve men teveffeytehû minnâ fe teveffehû ‘ale’l-İslâmi. Allahümme lâ tahrimna ecrehû ve lâ tüdillena ba’dehû.”MEANING:“Oh my God! Forgive this deceased servant of yours and have mercy on him. Give him well-being, forgive him, treat him where he arrives, and expand the place he enters. Wash away his (sins) with snow and ice, cleanse him from mistakes, just as a white garment is cleansed from dirt. Take him to a better home than his earthly home, to a better family than his family, to a better spouse than his spouse. Protect him from the torment of the grave and the torment of fire.
