TRABZON (AA) – “2024 Play Festival” was held at Trabzon University within the scope of April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day events.
At the event held in Fatih Campus, Fatih Faculty of Education classroom teachers, music teachers and pre-school students came together with children.
Primary school students participating in the event, which was held for the 11th time this year, played games and sang songs with teacher candidates.
Many different activities were also held at the festival, from stone painting to paper folding, from ring tossing to painting, with the aim of “learning while having fun”.
Lecturer Ümit Arslan told the AA correspondent that they were happy to repeat the event they organize every year on April 23.
Stating that teacher candidates played games with children at the festival, Arslan said, “On the occasion of April 23, ‘Children’s right is to play.’ “We wanted them to experience this enthusiasm just for themselves, without any worry, and we wanted to celebrate this with a special pride on the 100th anniversary of our Republic.” said.
