According to the statement made by the Turkish Football Federation, the National Team will play its first match in the B League 4th Group against Wales at Cardiff City Stadium on Friday, September 6. The fight will start at 21.45 GMT.
The crescent-star team will host Iceland, which they will face in their second match in the group in the Nations League, at Izmir Gürsel Aksel Stadium on Monday, September 9. The match will start at 21.45.
Gürsel Aksel Stadium also hosted the match of the National Team against Lithuania in the UEFA Nations League on June 14, 2022, and the star and crescent team won the match 2-0. The stadium, which was put into service in 2020, will host another national match, this time on the 102nd anniversary of Izmir’s liberation from enemy occupation.
Montenegro, as well as Wales and Iceland, are in the 4th Group of the B League, where the National Team is located.
