A conversion ceremony was held for Cameroonian Narcisse Notuom Defo, who became a Muslim, in Bandırma district of Balıkesir.
Cameroonian Narcisse Notuom Defo became a Muslim by martyrizing at the conversion ceremony held at Bandırma District Mufti’s Office. The ceremony started with the recitation of the Holy Quran. Then District Mufti Dr. Abdulhamid Pehlivan made statements about the Islamic religion. Wrestler emphasized that Islam is the only religion in the sight of Allah and stated that Defo is with approximately 2 billion Muslim brothers.
Defo was also given the Holy Quran and “My Religion Islam” books prepared by the Presidency of Religious Affairs. The ceremony ended with the prayer made by the District Mufti Pehlivan and the presentation of the conversion certificate.
