BİTLİS (IHA) – Inverted tulips on Karçınbaşı Hill, located between Bitlis city center and Mutki district, create a visual feast.
Inverted tulips, popularly known as ‘crying bride’ or ‘flower of sadness’, have started to bloom generally in the eastern region. Inverted tulips, which bloom as the weather gets warmer, attract great attention from nature lovers and photographers. Those who pluck, damage or break the flower, which can live for 20 days a year and is under protection, are fined 387 thousand 141 TL.
Photographer Emrah Kendilci noticed the upside-down tulips on the side of the road while going to Mutki district. Photographer Kendilci, who photographed the inverted tulips from the air, for which the penalty for plucking them is 387 thousand 141 TL, said that the natural wonder is waiting for everyone on the hill.
