While CHP’s Izmit Municipality teams wanted to open an alternative road to Kocaeli City Hospital in their area of ​​responsibility, they were blocked by AKP’s Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality teams. The incredible incident took place during the visit of CHP’s Izmit Mayor Fatma Kaplan Hürriyet to the scene of the incident for investigation. While AKP İzmit Municipal Council Member İbrahim Efe, who was among the crowd, wanted to approach Hürriyet, a person next to him pushed him with his arm and did not allow Efe to approach.

In the statement made after the incident, Hürriyet said, “How AKP council member İbrahim Efe throws himself to the ground with a touch, how he trips people while he is on the ground and makes them fall to the ground. Then he makes a show of saying ‘they are attacking me’. “This is the point we have reached,” he said.

Stating that he will be held accountable for the intervention against his own teams, Hürriyet said, “I will demand accountability for the attack on my technical director and our employees. We will use all our legal rights.”
