Sabahat Korkmazer, who lives in Silvan, tried to relieve the severe pain in her abdominal area for 10 years with the medications she received from health institutions.
Korkmazer, whose pain was increasing and his abdomen was gradually growing, was examined at the hospital he went to and then referred to Dicle University Faculty of Medicine Hospital for examination and treatment.

During Korkmazer’s check-up, a large mass was detected in his kidney. During the operation, which lasted 2 hours, a mass weighing 3 kilos and measuring 20 centimeters was removed from Korkmazer’s abdomen.

“If it had come at an early stage, it would not have grown so much and his kidney could have been saved.”
“During the examinations, we found that the patient had a 20-centimeter mass in his right kidney. Some of these kidney masses are benign masses that are generally seen during pregnancy. These tumors are kidney tumors that tend to bleed when they grow over 4 centimeters. This patient’s 20 centimeter kidney was seriously damaged and his life was in danger. Because these bleedings can be very serious and sudden. When our patient arrived, there was serious blood loss. We had to urgently take our patient into surgery and remove both the mass and the kidney. If it had come at an early stage, it would not have grown so much and his kidney could have been saved. This mass weighed 3 kilograms.
