GRANT-SUPPORTED VEGETABLE SEEDLING AND SOYBEAN SEED DISTRIBUTION WAS HELD

50% vegetable seedlings and “Development and Dissemination of Soybean Cultivation in Iğdır” within the scope of the “Development of Vegetable Cultivation in Iğdır Project” prepared by the Iğdır Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry and with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and the Special Provincial Administration of Iğdır within the scope of activating the use of agricultural lands in our province. Within the scope of the projects, 75% grant-supported soybean seeds were distributed.

Governor Ercan TURAN, Deputy Governor Abdulkadir ŞAHİN, Secretary General of the Special Provincial Administration Yüksel Kasım ÇARMAN, Directors of Institutions and Organizations, NGOs and Farmers participated in the distribution program held at the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry campus, hosted by Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Ahmet TİNGİŞ. They provided.

Governor Ercan TURAN chatted with the farmers who came for the distribution and emphasized that we will always support the farmers of Iğdır, which is an agricultural city, and that grant support will continue to our farmers with new projects.

Within the scope of the project, a total of 691,192 tomato, eggplant and pepper seedlings were distributed to 258 farmers, while 3850 kg of soybean seeds were distributed to 14 farmers.
