Erkan ALTUNTAŞ / AKSARAY, (DHA)- An administrative fine of 30 thousand liras in total was imposed on the Turkish Armed Forces (48) who fed African giant bird and angut duck, which is prohibited to feed in AKSARAY.
Aksaray Nature Conservation and National Parks Directorate teams received information that wild animals were being fed in the garden of the Turkish Armed Forces factory in the Organized Second Zone. The teams went to the specified address accompanied by the gendarmerie, and 2 African ostriches and 4 angut ducks were seized. An administrative fine of 30 thousand liras was imposed on the Turkish Armed Forces. While Angut ducks were left in their natural habitat, African giant birds were sent to Karatay Zoo in Konya.
