Counterfeit Olive Oil Operation in Bursa: 3 Thousand 800 Liters of Illegal Olive Oil was Seized

Intelligence Branch Directorate teams affiliated with Bursa Provincial Gendarmerie Command caught people producing fake olive oil during the operation.

The teams of the Intelligence Branch Directorate of Bursa Provincial Gendarmerie Command received information that fake olive oils brought from Aydın would be sold in the Başköy District of the central Nilüfer district. The teams pressed the operation button and detected that AA (30) and MA (18) came to Bursa by vehicle. The teams stopped the vehicle and seized approximately 3,800 liters of smuggled olive oil, with a market value of 1 million 200 thousand liras, before it was put on the market. AA and MA were caught and detained and legal proceedings were initiated against the suspects. – BURSA
