The notice of smoke rising from a beach in Antalya’s Manavgat district alerted the gendarmerie and fire brigade teams. Since the crime scene was a sandy area and vehicle access was difficult, it was determined that the smoke was coming from burned garbage during the gendarmerie’s control with a drone.

The 112 Emergency Call Center received a fire report in the Boğaz Mendirek area, which alerted the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Fire Brigade Manavgat unit teams and the Manavgat District Gendarmerie Command Central Gendarmerie Station teams. While the firefighters who came to the specified address had difficulty in going to the area where there was smoke due to the sandy area, it was determined that the smoke was caused by the burning of the collected garbage and that there was no fire, during the control made by the gendarmerie teams with a drone. The teams warned citizens in the area not to burn garbage without informing them.
