Burdur Mayor Ali Orkun Ercengiz, Deputy Mayor Hülya Eraslan, Mukhtars Association President Sami Çelik, CHP Provincial Chairman Kadir Koç, CHP District Chairman İlyas Divarcı, Provincial General and Municipal Council Members, headmen and unit managers attended the breakfast held in Istasyon Park.
Speaking at the breakfast, Mayor Ercengiz said, “We have started a new era. In our political adventure that started in 2014, we gained the chance and right to serve Burdur for another 5 years, with the favor of the people of Burdur, as the candidate of the Republican People’s Party for the 3rd time. In the past 10 years, we tried to come together with 35 central neighborhood headmen and 51 village headmen. We were together often. We tried to support our villages as much as we could. We are always together. In Burdur Center and district villages, where 65 thousand of our citizens went to the polls, our citizens used their democratic right once every 5 years and elected us, and in return they expect service from us. Together with you, we gather together from time to time to discuss whatever our citizens need, discuss what we will do, and determine our priorities. I hope the new era will be beneficial to all of us. May God not embarrass any of us. “I thank you all for participating,” he said.
