The opening meeting of the ‘Catching Up with Sivas in Tourism Project’, prepared under the leadership of Sivas Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was held under the chairmanship of STSO Chairman of the Board of Directors Zeki Özdemir.
The Catch Up with Sivas in Tourism Project, which was prepared under the leadership of Sivas Chamber of Commerce and Industry (STSO) and is thought to increase the city’s tourism figures, was opened. The opening meeting held at STSO; Sivas Culture and Tourism Director Aziz Erdoğan, Oran Development Agency Sivas Provincial Coordinator Yunus Emre Şeker, Buruciye AŞ General Manager Mustafa Altun and the personnel and managers of the tourism facilities attended.
Stating that they carried out the project together with Oran Development Agency, Mayor Özdemir said, “The concept of speed in the title of our project “Get to the Speed of Sivas” was formed with the arrival of the High Speed Train to our city. The most important contribution that our High Speed Train brings to Sivas is its contribution to the tourism sector. We wanted to be beneficial to the tourism sector in terms of education in order to bring more tourists to Sivas. “We did this project to transfer the knowledge of our teachers to sector managers and employees,” he said.
Speaking in the program, Oran Development Agency Sivas Provincial Coordinator Yunus Emre Şeker stated that Sivas TSO was entitled to receive support by preparing a project based on the important issue of the city. Stating that the programs exist as the projects come, Şeker said that the main purpose of the projects is to contribute to the tourism move of Sivas, focusing on the High Speed Train.
Sivas Provincial Culture and Tourism Director Aziz Erdoğan thanked Sivas TSO for the development of the tourism sector and said, “I believe that a good outcome will be achieved as a result of the project.”
Instructor Assoc. Prof. stated that he was pleased to be in Sivas and take part in such a project. Dr. İrfan Mısırlı gave information about the training to be given.
In the eight-day training; Training will be provided on Guest Communication, Customer Satisfaction, Social Code of Conduct and especially Guest and Human Relations. Participants who complete the training program will be given a certificate.
