Fire in electrical transformer – Burdur News

Mesut MADAN/BURDUR, (DHA)- An electrical transformer became unusable due to a fire in BURDUR.

Fire brigade, police and electricity distribution company teams were dispatched to the scene upon the notice of those who saw smoke coming out of the electrical transformer building at Yeni TOKİ Residences in Bozkurt District of Burdur center yesterday around 17:00. After the transformer building door was opened, the fire extinguisher was used. After the fire was extinguished, electrical distribution teams removed the transformer panel and installed a new one. Due to the fire, electricity was not supplied to the area for approximately 3 hours. (DHA)
