The mobile library vehicle belonging to the Kars Provincial Public Library Directorate came to the city.
The total number of mobile library vehicles in our country, allocated to 81 provinces and some large districts by the General Directorate of Libraries and Publications of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, is 85. The General Directorate of Libraries and Publications continues its efforts to increase the number of tools.
Work continues to put the mobile library into service in our city. These works include sending the Mobile Router device that will provide internet access to the vehicle by the ministry, programming the computers by the ministry, completing the catalog operations of the books and employing 1 driver.
Among these studies, the cataloging operations carried out by the Provincial Public Library Directorate are about to be completed. When the work is completed, a program will be organized together with school principals and headmen to provide librarianship services to the villages and neighborhoods far from the center of our city. The program will be announced on the Provincial Public Library website and social media accounts.
Inside the vehicle, there are 3 tables, 10 folding stools, 1 television, 1 projector, 1 projection screen, 5 laptops, 1 multi-function printer, 1 generator, 1 refrigerator, 1 kettle. ) and 1 shade awning.
