Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality teams and Izmit Municipality Technical Works teams faced each other. Izmit Mayor Fatma Kaplan Hürriyet, who rebelled against what happened on her social media account, blamed Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality.

Hürriyet, who also shared the images of the moments when the fight took place, rebelled by saying, “This is too much.” Hürriyet included the following statements in its post:
“Metropolitan teams are attacking our technical teams. As we said compromise, the situation has gone beyond insidious obstruction, even to physical attack. Apparently, Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality is taking the anger of Tügva and Ensar from us!”
Hürriyet, who came to the scene after the post in question, also made a statement here. He invited Metropolitan Mayor Tahir Büyükakın to rectify “this mistake”. Hürriyet stated that they will not let the issue go and will do what is necessary through legal means.
Hürriyet continued his speech with the following statements:
“What is being done today is a really insidious plan. What is being done today is aimed at humiliating us in front of the society or encouraging us to do something wrong in front of the society. It was organized like this day in and day out. The headman is not aware of it. There is a school next door and the school’s administration is not aware of it. He was taken from the hospital. There is no official letter or approval, the Metropolitan teams are entering our area headlong and blocking the road.
“IT IS NOT AN ACCEPTABLE THING”
My teams come here to fix the road and prepare asphalt on the weekend and encounter this view. They don’t let our teams come here to our own area. My work machines cannot enter, and they beat my friends and employees here. This is really not acceptable.
“MY SCIENCE DIRECTOR WAS SUFFERED A SERIOUS BLOW”
The Metropolitan Municipality must now rectify this mistake as soon as possible. We do our own areas of responsibility, brother. We don’t need anything in this regard, they just shouldn’t get in the way. We will use all our legal rights regarding this. My Director of Science and Technology suffered a serious blow today. All of my colleagues who work here have also been subjected to serious physical intervention. This is truly unacceptable.”
