Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Provides Great Support to Agriculture and Livestock

Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality continues to be the municipality of everyone and every segment of society, both in the center and in the rural areas. President Dr. The Metropolitan Municipality, under the management of Memduh Büyükkılıç, has also become the municipality of producers with the support it provides to farmers and breeders in rural neighborhoods.

Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, under the management of Mayor Büyükkılıç, which takes great care to fulfill the municipalities’ duties and responsibilities to support agriculture and livestock in the new metropolitan management model introduced by Law No. 6360, is appreciated by the citizens and praised by public administrators.

First and Only Description from Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Saklav in terms of Support to Agriculture

In the information he shared within the scope of agricultural supports, Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Bülent Saklav emphasized that considering the amount of support provided by Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality under the management of Mayor Büyükkılıç, the Metropolitan Municipality is the first and only municipality in Turkey.

Reminding that Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality under the management of Büyükkılıç has transferred approximately 500 million TL of support to Kayseri farmers in 5 years and underlining that this support is the first and only in Turkey, Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Saklav said, “When we look at the data, Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality only provides seed support.” “It has also provided tools, equipment support, agricultural irrigation support, support in pasture improvement projects, support for plasterboard support, and approximately 500 million TL of support to our farmers from Kayseri in 5 years. This is the first and only in Turkey,” he said.
