Hakkari Governor Ali Çelik, within the scope of his “New Horizons with Young People” talks, continues to gift trips to young people who are making future plans, which will be a road map in their university choices.
Governor Çelik, who previously rewarded the students of some schools with a trip to Istanbul and Çanakkale, this time rewarded the students of Hakkari Science High School and Hakkari Anatolian High School with a trip to Istanbul and Erzurum. After completing their trip, the students returned to Hakkari.
Expressing that he is happy to present such trips as a gift to young people who are making future plans, which will be a road map in their university choices, Governor Çelik stated that their aim is to increase the morale and motivation of young people and to encourage them to visit popular universities in big cities. Governor Çelik stated that he attaches great importance to the students who reside in Hakkari provinces and districts and who never go out of the city, to gain new horizons by ensuring that they participate in such trips. “With this trip, our students at Hakkari Science High School and Hakkari Anatolian High School will gain information about the universities that are the best in their fields. During this trip, we sent 92 students, accompanied by 3 administrators and 9 teachers, to Istanbul and Erzurum by road to stay there. Our children made beautiful memories there and I believe that these memories will hold a special place in Istanbul and our children’s lives. “I would like to express my gratitude to the Governorships of Çanakkale, the Provincial Directorates of National Education and the Rectors of the Universities of these provinces, they adopted our children there,” he said.

Stating that, as Hakkari Governorship, they will continue to support and contribute to education so that students grow up as good people and citizens, Governor Çelik said, “Our Hakkari is the city of cultural richness with its ancient civilization heritage. I believe that our province, with its young population, is a city of education and sport It will be an exemplary city with its success rates in many exams, competitions and events in its field. We all observe the signs of this. In this regard, great work falls on our teachers, who I believe will make a great contribution to the education of our city with their knowledge.
