Operation against street vendors! – PUBLIC ORDER – Erzurum Pusula Newspaper

Under the coordination of the Elazığ Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, a simultaneous operation was carried out by the Provincial Police Department’s Anti-Narcotic Crimes Branch Directorate, as a result of approximately 3 months of work against street dealers within the framework of the fight against drugs. During the operation, 13 street vendors were caught and detained. During the searches, 32.97 grams of methamphetamine in 16 pieces, 11.05 grams of cocaine in 12 pieces, 26.46 grams of marijuana in 11 pieces, 179 synthetic drugs, 2 precision scales, 2 unlicensed guns and 18 cartridges for guns were found ready for sale. 2 unlicensed shotguns, 20 thousand 285 TL, which is considered to have been obtained from drug trafficking, and 50 dollars in cash were seized. 13 suspects, whose procedures were completed at the Provincial Police Department, were sent to the courthouse. While 2 of the individuals were released from the prosecutor’s office on condition of judicial control, 9 suspects were arrested and sent to prison.
