‘Edirne through children’s eyes’ painting exhibition opened in Edirne

Edirnein “From the eyes of a child” Edirne“The painting exhibition was opened.

The exhibition at Devecihan Cultural Center was opened by Edirne Governor Yunus Sezer, Mayor Filiz Gencan Akın, Edirne Chamber of Commerce President Sezai Irmak, Culture and Tourism Director Kemal Soytürk and children.

After the opening, Sezer and his entourage visited the exhibition, examined 80 paintings and chatted with the children.

Sezai Irmak Art Academy Director Songül Şahin stated in her statement to journalists that the students had the opportunity to exhibit their works made throughout the year.

Explaining that this year’s exhibition concept is “Edirne through children’s eyes”, Şahin said, “Our students talked about Edirne in this study. They tried to explain all kinds of cultural heritage of the city with pictures. There was an intense participation, we are very pleased.” said.

The exhibition will remain open until April 30.
