The effect of the desert dust cloud on the city, which was also effective at night, came to light with the first light of the day. While citizens had difficulty seeing both sides of the city, the desert dust cloud, which resembled fog but reduced visibility, was also seen from the air.
AIR QUALITY HAS DECREASED
According to the data of the National Air Quality Monitoring Network of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change of the Republic of Turkey, the air quality value in Konak, one of the central districts, is measured as ‘good’; Air quality was recorded as ‘medium’ in Bayraklı, Balçova, Bornova, Buca, Karabağlar and Karşıya districts.
