A fire broke out in a detached house on Huzur Mahallesi Afşin Street, thought to be due to an electrical leak. As the fire grew with a natural gas leak, the flames spread throughout the house.

After the people living in the house moved away from the area by their own means, many fire brigades and officials of electricity and natural gas distribution companies were directed to the scene upon notice.

After the teams cut off the electricity and natural gas connections of the house, the fire was taken under control as a result of the work carried out by the fire brigade.

While it was determined that there were pigeons in the coop in the basement of the house during the cooling works, it was seen that the pigeons were not affected by the flames.
