Denizli Chamber of Independent Accountants and Financial Advisors took an important action due to the increasing intensity in their profession and the non-application of inflation correction during provisional tax periods. Speaking at the action, Denizli Chamber of Independent Accountants and Financial Advisors Board Secretary Nuri Karakuş stated that the workload of his colleagues has increased and working conditions have become difficult. Karakuş said, “As members of the profession, we observe that the contents of the declarations and notifications we have received recently have become increasingly complex. Moreover, this intensity increases with the non-application of inflation correction during provisional tax periods. While discussions are being held in developed countries such as reducing weekly working days to four days in order to improve working conditions, “We, financial advisors, are confined to our offices almost 24/7.” he said.OUR SOCIAL LIVES ARE NEGATIVELY AFFECTEDPointing out that as the workload of financial advisors increases, their work-life balance is negatively affected, Karakuş said, “Our colleagues have difficulty in establishing the work-life balance necessary to prevent people’s psychology from deteriorating. In his statement, Erdemir said, “Our financial advisors are among the locomotives of our economy. They try to fulfill their profession properly. However, the problems they experience and the increasing workload negatively affect people’s psychology. Financial advisors stated that simplification of declarations and notifications and modernization of information systems infrastructures are essential.
