Eskişehir Watermen’s Chamber President Hayrettin Nam stated in his statement that they are having difficulty in making a living after the increasing costs and that they are expecting a price increase for Kalabak Water.

In the Nam statement, as Eskişehir Kalabak Bottled Water Street distributor tradesmen, unfortunately we have become unable to make a living due to the increasing costs in recent days. “It has become almost impossible to deliver Kalabak Bottled Water, which we distribute together with Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality in order to provide quality water to our people at the cheapest price, to our people at these prices under today’s conditions,” he said.

Stating that the price update for Kalabak Bottled Water was last made in October 2023, Nam said in his speech: “The price increases in many essential items in daily life, especially personnel expenses, daily increases in fuel prices, industry, depreciation, automobile insurance, insurance expenses, make a living in this sector. “It has put a strain on the backs of our tradesmen, who earn their living through road transport and whose only source of income is this business, and our tradesmen have become unable to cover the costs beyond making a living.” He continued:
“KALABAK BOTTOM WATER FEES SHOULD BE MADE IN ACCORDANCE WITH TODAY’S CONDITIONS”
Nam said, “In order to ensure that the Kalabak Bottled Water Street distribution service continues to be provided to our people in a healthy way, it has become inevitable to bring the Kalabak Bottled Water prices in line with today’s conditions and to eliminate the grievances of our tradesmen who earn their living in this way.” he said.
Nam said, “We request our Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor to help us in this matter on behalf of our tradesmen.” said.
