In Trabzon, a march and sit-in protest in support of Palestine were held by IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation and Özgür Aksa Trabzon Platform.

The group gathered in front of İskenderpaşa Mosque in Ortahisar district, walked in front of Ziraat Bank on Kahramanmaraş Street, accompanied by slogans and flags. Participants held a sit-in protest here for a while.

Free Aksa Platform Member Kadir Bekar, who made a press statement on behalf of the group, stated that Israel continues to carry out massacres without any law or morality and said, “Our Gazan brothers are resisting genocide with enviable bravery. The most advanced technologies of the world are in a city, despite the support of the states that are the so-called police stations of the world.” “He has remained helpless against the resistance so far, and I hope he will continue to do so.” said.

Emphasizing that the people of Gaza have continued to resist for 8 months, Bekar said, “This is undoubtedly related to the steeled belief of a society, and this belief makes us witness it with the resistance, with the resignation, smiles and resistance of orphaned children, widows, childless mothers, and familyless children.” he said.

After the speech, the Holy Quran was recited and prayers were read for the Palestinian people. The group dispersed after chanting slogans.
