4 people who gambled in Edirne were fined 25 thousand 700 lira

Umut IŞIK/EDİRNE, (DHA)- An administrative fine of 25 thousand 700 TL was imposed on 4 people who were found to be gambling in a coffeehouse in EDİRNE.

In the study carried out by the Provincial Police Department Public Order Branch Directorate Ethics Bureau teams, it was determined that gambling was taking place in the coffeehouse in Atatürk District. During the inspections carried out in the coffeehouse, 4 thousand 50 liras and 110 euros were seized from the game table. While a total administrative fine of 25 thousand 700 TL was imposed on 4 people who were found to be gambling, legal proceedings were initiated against the operator who provided gambling for ‘providing a place and opportunity for gambling’.
