ANTALYA, (DHA) – 3 suspects who defrauded the people they called by introducing themselves as police-prosecutors on the phone in ANTALYA were caught and arrested.

The suspects, who introduced themselves as police-prosecutors on the phone, told the NA they called to deliver the jewelery worth 3.5 million lira to the people they would send home. Taking action upon being notified of the situation, Antalya Police Department Public Order Branch Directorate officers caught and detained the suspects named M.Ç, H.İ.K and AA, who came to collect the jewelry. In the investigation, it was determined that M.Ç committed qualified fraud by taking jewelry worth 1 million 600 thousand liras from another complainant using the same method. Mobile phones and SIM cards belonging to the suspects were seized. Three suspects who were referred to the judicial authorities were arrested for the crime of ‘Qualified Fraud’ and delivered to prison.
