Bursa furniture industry representatives visited the 62nd Salone del Mobile in Milan, Italy. This year, at the fair, where more than 1,950 participating companies from 35 countries took part, industry representatives discovered the latest collections and trends and made important contacts for new collaborations.

BTSO members continue to meet at international fairs with KFA Fuarcılık. Furniture industry representatives visited Salone Del Mobile, which is held in Milan and is among the largest and most established furniture fairs in the world. The fair, which took place in an area of ​​approximately 175 thousand square meters, brought together all components of the sector under one roof, from living and dining rooms to office furniture, from tables and chairs to kitchen groups. Salone Del Mobile, hosted by Fiera Milano Rho Fair Center, hosted more than 360 thousand visitors for 5 days.

“Turkish furniture industry is in a big move”

Rıdvan Loyan, who attended the fair on behalf of BTSO 38th Professional Committee member İtimat Home Design company, said that the Turkish furniture industry has recently made an important progress in production and exports. Stating that they visited Salone Del Mobile Milano with the aim of following the competition in the sector, learning customer expectations and bringing innovations to production, Loyan said, “Salone Del Mobile is a fair that sets trends in the furniture industry with its concept and quality. Here, we see our shortcomings on behalf of both our company and our sector and we try to complete them.” “In this sense, I can say that it is a useful fair that gives us ideas,” he said.

VRL Furniture company owner Soydan Varol stated that the fair was very busy in terms of both the number of participants and visitors. Noting that it is important to take part in these fairs in terms of establishing new trade connections, vision and prestige, Varol said, “Turkey is now among the most important players in the world in the furniture industry. We see that we are at the forefront in terms of design, model and quality at the fair in Italy. As a company, “We also do hotel, restaurant and cafe project work. We export to 32 countries around the world. We attach great importance to market diversity. We had the opportunity to meet with our existing and potential customers here,” he said.

Modesse Mobilya company owner Mustafa Tunçer stated that Salone Del Mobile Milano is among the most important meetings of the sector in Europe. Stating that the fair stands out among other fairs with its participant and visitor profile, quality and rich content, Tunçer said, “We attach importance to this fair. It is an extremely important fair in terms of following innovations and gaining a vision.
