April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day and the 104th anniversary of the opening of the Turkish Grand National Assembly were celebrated with enthusiasm in Bursa. First, the cortege march started on Altıparmak Street, which attracted great attention from the people of Bursa. Immediately afterwards, children had the opportunity to have fun in the festival area where a children’s stage was set up in Merinos Park. There was a festive atmosphere with the Metropolitan Municipality’s special children’s tiny steps run, Bursa local children’s folk dance show, gymnastics show, science and bubble show, children’s folk dance potpourri team, kick-boxing show, magician show and DJ children’s songs. In the evening, the holiday was crowned with a Nil Karaibrahimgil concert.
Nil Karaibrahimgil surprise for the people of Bursa
Nil Karaibrahimgil, who crowned the enthusiasm of April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day with her beautiful songs, sang her popular songs for the children of Bursa this time. Nil Karaibrahimgil, who sang her songs ‘This is Istanbul’, ‘Pırlanta’, ‘Hadi Inshallah’, ‘I Want to Hear Everything About’ with the children, provided a musical feast.

Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Bozbey came on stage during the concert and presented flowers to the famous singer Nil Karaibrahimgil. Celebrating April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day of the world’s children, President Bozbey said, “Dear children who came together here today with their smiling faces, today is your holiday. You have the right to have fun to the fullest. I commemorate our martyrs and veterans, who are the architects of our Republic and national sovereignty, with mercy, gratitude and respect. “I congratulate April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day by saying that all children smile in the same language,” he said.

The children who came to experience the excitement of the holiday at the festival area set up in Merinos Park expressed that they were happy because they experienced the holiday to the fullest. The children emphasized that they had a pleasant time and were happy by participating in various activities throughout the day.
