Neslihan Olcay, one of the experienced names in the sector, was appointed to the newly created CEO role at IAB Turkey within the scope of the harmonization and institutionalization strategy with IAB structures in other countries.
Within the scope of her new position, Neslihan Olcay will work with the IAB Turkey Board of Directors to provide more comprehensive and innovative products and services for the diversifying needs of the association’s members in line with technology, workforce and work trends, as well as new sectoral practices and regulations, in addition to the institutionalization efforts of the association; It will focus on joint work with other sector associations and deepening relations with IAB Europe.
Making a statement regarding the appointment, IAB Turkey Chairman of the Board of Directors, Burak Ertaş, said, “As the board of directors, with the aim of transforming our association’s vision and strategies into action in a sustainable manner, we have decided to move towards institutionalization by aligning with the structures of IAB in other countries, in which we actively participate in its global work. In addition, the needs of our 194 members, consisting of advertisers, publishers, agencies and technology companies, and their expectations from us as an association, are changing and diversifying day by day. To meet these needs and expectations, a stronger and more sustainable structure is required. As a first step in this direction, we created the CEO role, which did not exist before in the IAB Türkiye professional staff. Neslihan Olcay, one of the experienced names in our industry, will assume this new role. “I believe that we will bring IAB Turkey to a much stronger position for the future, under the leadership of Neslihan Olcay, who has contributed to the work of our association both in our country and in IAB Europe in different positions for many years, in addition to her experiences in the field of agency management,” he said.
Neslihan Olcay, who started to serve as the CEO of IAB Turkey, made the following additions: “I am very happy and honored to return as the CEO of IAB Turkey, of which I was one of the founding members and past presidents. I am also very happy to have the opportunity to lead the institutionalization process of our association together with our valuable board members, many of whom I have worked shoulder to shoulder with under the umbrella of the association for more than 10 years. It is very exciting to use my experiences from now on to further strengthen IAB Turkey’s sector representation and to develop new projects together with the professional staff of our association that will respond to the diversified needs and expectations of our members. “I would like to thank our board members, especially our chairman of the board, Burak Ertaş, who found me worthy of this important role.”
