In the studies carried out by the Ethics Bureau of the Provincial Police Department in Edirne, it was determined that gambling was taking place in a coffeehouse in the Atatürk District. While the gambling winnings were confiscated, legal action was taken against the person who gambled for the crime of Providing Space and Facilities.

In Edirne, the Provincial Police Department’s Ethics Bureau does not allow betting games. Within the scope of the studies, the teams detected gambling in a coffeehouse in the Atatürk District and took action and organized an operation.
The teams carried out an operation in the coffeehouse at 23:00 at night and caught the gamblers red-handed. Gambling winnings of 4,050 TL and 110 Euros (3,850 TL) were seized.
While legal action was taken against the person who gambled for the crime of ‘Providing a Place and Opportunity for Gambling’, an administrative fine of 25 thousand 700 TL in total was imposed on 4 people who gambled.
