Transformation Process Started in Small Industrial Sites in Trabzon

Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Metin Genç stated that they started an important transformation process in small industrial sites.

According to the statement made by the Metropolitan Municipality, Genç met with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of SSAll Industries Small Industrial Site Building Cooperative, Gökçen Alemdaroğlu and his entourage.

Genç emphasized that important steps have been taken on the future of small industrial sites and said, “There are approximately 1700 independent businesses in 5 separate sites that will be moved to an area of ​​65 hectares. This area will be easily accessible from both Maçka and Kanuni Boulevard. We are starting an important transformation process.” he said.

Providing information about the meetings, Genç said, “Hopefully, by acting together, we will achieve our goal and with this work, we will provide a more comfortable working environment for our tradesmen and employees who serve in unsanitary conditions.” made his assessment.

Genç underlined that they will give the east of the city a brand new identity with the construction of a residential area focused on trade and tourism, and said:

The positive attitude of our tradesmen in small industries in this work motivates us even more towards achieving the goal. Alemdaroğlu also stated that they were happy to start working on the project they had been waiting for and working on for years.
