A fire broke out in the house belonging to Şaban Karamehmetoğlu in the Merkez District of Değirmencik village in the district, for an unknown reason.
The fire, which grew in a short time, spread to another adjacent house belonging to the same family, as well as to the warehouse, woodshed, hayloft, greenhouse and stables.
Firefighters who came to the area responded to the fire after the people around reported it.
In the fire, which was extinguished with difficulty by the teams, 2 houses, warehouse, woodshed, hayloft, greenhouse and 2 barns became unusable.
4 Cattle Animals Also Died in the Fire.
The wind is making the work of the teams difficult in the fire where cooling efforts are continuing.
Village headman Ömer Yılmaz told reporters that they did not know the cause of the fire and said, “The fire grew suddenly. 4 animals were left in the barn. We notified the fire brigade and gendarmerie. The teams are still working.” said.
