Thank you to the drivers who obey the traffic rules within the scope of the Peace City Tokat Project

Within the scope of the “Peace City Tokat Project”, Governor Numan Hatipoğlu thanked the gendarmerie teams and the drivers who obey the traffic rules.

Within the scope of the project implemented in partnership with Turkey, Portugal and Romania under the chairmanship of the Turkish National Agency, Hatipoğlu participated in the application at the Gökdere gendarmerie traffic control point on the Tokat-Niksar highway.

Hatipoğlu, who chatted with the drivers of stopped vehicles and gave gifts, pointed out that Tokat is a city that bears the traces of an ancient culture and civilization and said, “Mevlana says, ‘We need to go to Tokat, because both the climate and the people are moderate.’ We, the people of Tokat, say again “We want the deep-rooted habits of our history to emerge, to reach the streets and avenues where our citizens can roam peacefully, and for our tradesmen to behave in a very polite and courteous manner.” said.

Hatipoğlu explained that within the scope of the project, they stopped those coming from Romania and Portugal at the gendarmerie point and thanked those who obeyed the traffic rules, and said:

“I hope that our work will continue to fully reveal the beauties originating from Tokat’s ancient culture. Traffic habits need to be established very well for everyone. We are in an effort to reveal our every behavior in every aspect of life in Tokat. What could these be? “It manifests itself as many behaviors, including compliance with traffic rules and the cleanliness of the streets. In this sense, our teams are working, our citizens are working, and we are trying to give this message to all of Tokat.”

The drivers also thanked Hatipoğlu and the gendarmerie teams for the work.
