(ANKARA) – German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, who paid an official visit to Turkey on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Germany and Turkey, was protested by members of the Ankara Palestine Solidarity Platform and citizens in front of the Faculty of Languages, History and Geography (DTCF) of Ankara University.

After his visit to Anıtkabir, Steinmeier met with Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş at DTCF.

German President Steinmeier was protested in front of the faculty. Ankara – In the protest organized by the Palestine Solidarity Platform, a banner saying “We do not want Zionism in Turkey” was opened, and slogans were chanted: “Freedom for Palestine”, “Murderer Germany is the murderer of babies”, “You cannot remain silent while children are dying”, “Aqsa Flood will defeat Zionism”.
