8 people caught with unlicensed weapons are detained

Provincial Police Department Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime and Public Order Branch teams carried out an application throughout the city to ensure general security and public order, detect criminal elements and capture suspects.

As a result of the application, 8 suspects who were in possession of unlicensed weapons were caught.

During the body searches of the suspects, 7 unlicensed pistols and 34 cartridges, 7 unlicensed shotguns and 56 cartridges were seized.

Judicial action was taken against the detained suspects.
