The metro malfunction in Istanbul has not been resolved for 2 days! Reaction from AK Party: Physical accident, not technical malfunction, bumping, not contact

--

The fact that the malfunction in the Üsküdar-Samandıra metro line, which is used by many citizens in the morning and evening hours in Istanbul, could not be resolved even after 2 days, brought about reactions.

DIFFERENT EXPLANATIONS WERE MADE

The disruption on the M5 Üsküdar-Samandıra Metro Line, which started at 06.00 the previous day, continues. Due to the problem, which Metro Istanbul first declared as a “technical malfunction”, then described as “mandatory maintenance work”, and yesterday stated that it was caused by “the contact of two trains without passengers used for training purposes outside operating hours”, the services continue to be transferred at Altunizade Station.

Citizens passing from the Altunizede stop to the metro line are warned “Go in the opposite direction of your destination” as they pass through the turnstiles.

PASSENGERS ARE GUIDED WITH MEGAPHONE

When you go down to the floor where the line is located, the officers waiting in front of the direction signs make announcements with a megaphone and direct the citizens to the direction they want to go.

While the timed display signs at the bus stop are not working, an officer using a megaphone among the citizens informs them that the services are carried out at 15-minute intervals.

DENSITY INCREASED AT STOPS

As the flight intervals get longer, the density at the bus stop increases, and some citizens voice out loud that they are worried about being late for work.

A citizen waiting for the subway said, “Is there anyone who can make a statement? Close these subways then. Can such a ridiculous thing happen? Isn’t this against human rights? We can’t go home or work. You know, everything was going to be fine, what kind of situation is this? Shame on you.” While he reacted, other citizens around him also supported him.

While the malfunction was announced as “mandatory maintenance work” by the central system at the bus stop, there was no space left to move at the bus stop, which was almost full due to the fact that the train services from Üsküdar to Samandıra, which were held at 4-minute intervals during peak hours before the malfunction, were run every 15 minutes.

Citizens who do not want to wait for the metro are informed that they can take the free IETT buses departing from exit number 6 and go towards Üsküdar.

At the bus stop, buses with “on duty” written on the front ring to Üsküdar at regular intervals.

REACTION FROM OSMAN NURİ KABAKTEPE

AK Party Istanbul Provincial Chairman Osman Nuri Kabaktepe reacted to the metro malfunction by sharing a post on his social media account. Kabaktepe used the following statements:

Again Perception… Again Deception… Again Lie…

If dealing with perception seems to be a matter of political temperament, it is also in nature that the truth emerges. Samandıra-Üsküdar metro line has not been working properly for about 2 days.

Unfortunately, CHP’s IMM Municipality is more concerned with deceiving the people of Istanbul instead of explaining the facts, and is misleading the public by making strange, inconsistent and fake statements.

“NOT A TECHNICAL FAILURE, BUT A PHYSICAL ACCIDENT”

In their statement, IMM administrators stated that there was a “technical malfunction”. However, the “technical malfunction” is related to the processor; The problem on the metro line is not a technical one, but a “physical accident”.

“BUT BUTTING, NOT CONTACT”

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality managers made another statement and said that there was “contact”. However, “contact” happens when they touch each other; the situation on the subway line is not “contact” but “bumping”.

In the same statement, IMM managers stated that the metro will be opened after “mandatory maintenance works”. However, what is done before the accidents is called “maintenance”, and what is done after the accidents is called “repair”.

In the same statement, IMM administrators declared that the incident occurred during use for “Educational Purposes”. However, if there is a “vatman” on the metro line (which there is not), the education given is called “education”; If there is no driver, the work done is called “test drive”.

We are faced with a new case of “Jacob’s goat fell off the roof”. Abraham, not Jacob.
Not a goat but a ram, not falling off the roof but sacrificing.

Just as; Not a technical malfunction but an accident, not contact but a crash, not maintenance but repair, not training but a test drive.
