52 athletes competed fiercely in Kars

April 23 enthusiasm was experienced in Kars with the Chess Tournament. The children who placed in the rankings are happy to receive medals.

April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day Chess Tournament was held on 20-21 April 2024 at Kars Provincial Public Library.

The tournament, which started with the registration check at 09.00 on Saturday with the participation of a total of 52 athletes, continued for 2 days. All 52 athletes played 6 rounds of matches. Our athletes competed fiercely in the matches that started every day at 10.30, 13.30 and 15.30.

The tournament was organized in 3 categories according to age groups: 08 years and under, 10 years and under, 14 years and under. The top three athletes and the best female athletes in all three categories were awarded medals. Our athletes who received awards in the tournament are as follows:
