In cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Turkish Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA), under the coordination of the Directorate, the slogan “12 Months Tourism, Tourism in All Seasons” was developed for travel agency owners from Greece as a productive step towards increasing the market diversity of tourism more effectively and efficiently. With this move, a promotional presentation was made to announce the potential and attractiveness of tourism to wider audiences.
Such collaborations are of critical importance for the development and diversification of the tourism sector. With its unique nature, rich history and cultural heritage, Trabzon does not limit the tourism season to summer months only.
Instead, it is aimed to offer attractive opportunities to visitors at all times of the year.
In this context, events and promotional activities organized for travel agency owners from Greece can be considered as a productive step to demonstrate and diversify the potential of seasonal tourism.
These studies will contribute to the sustainability of tourism not only in Trabzon but also throughout Türkiye. The fact that our city can be visited in all seasons with different cultural events, nature tourism activities, gastronomic experiences and many other tourism products will allow tourism revenues to increase steadily and the local economy to strengthen.
