The accident occurred in the Bük village location on the Kastamonu-Taşköprü highway. According to the information obtained, the pickup truck with plate number 37 ACB 354 left the road and flew from the bridge into the stream as a result of its driver, whose name was not known, losing control of the steering wheel. Three people in the vehicle were injured in the accident. Upon the notice of the citizens who saw the accident, fire brigade, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. The injured, who received first aid by the teams arriving at the scene, were taken to Kastamonu Training and Research Hospital.
