The body of the person who came from Mardin to Diyarbakır and jumped into the Tigris River was found 6 days later.

In the evening hours of April 18, after a body was found in the Tigris River in Bağıvar District and personal wallet and clothes were found, AFAD, Dicle University Search and Rescue (DÜAK), Gendarmerie Search and Rescue (JAK), Police Search and Rescue (PAK) Search efforts were started by the Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department diving team accompanied by the cadaver search dog ‘Boyka’.

The body of MNA (36) was found on the 6th day as a result of the work of the teams.

It was learned that MNA was a psychiatric patient, came to the hospital from Mardin to Diyarbakır, and was reported missing in Mardin after no news was received.

The body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for autopsy.
