‘TOBB Post-Control and Rules of Origin Training’ was organized hosted by Mersin Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MTSO). Ahmet Şevket Dayıoğlu, Department Head of the Ministry of Commerce General Directorate of International Agreements and European Union, and TOBB Foreign Trade Manager Kubilay Şimşek, who came to Mersin for the training, MTSO Board Member İdris Üs Temel, Chairman of the Customs Consultancy Services Professional Committee No. 18 Serhan Koylan and He met with Council Member Cengizhan Küçükgerger.

During the meeting, where the disruptions in the customs sector and practices were discussed, Dayıoğlu shared information about the new practices of the ministry. Noting that important updates have been made in the Origin and Circulation Documents Automation System (MEDOS), Dayıoğlu stated that with the introduction of the system developed with block chain, the use of paper will be eliminated and it will be possible to progress faster and healthier through the system.

In the TOBB Post-Control and Rules of Origin Training, which started afterwards, experts from the General Directorate of Customs informed the participants about preferential and non-preferential rules of origin.
