The student on the field side became the center of attention during the April 23 celebrations in Zonguldak

April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day celebrations were held at the city stadium in Zonguldak. First-year student Bilge Işıl Örenli became the center of attention when she accompanied the demonstrations from the field.

April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day celebrations continued at Karaelmas Kemal Köksal Stadium. Zonguldak Governor Osman Hacıbektaşoğlu and Mayor Tahsin Erdem congratulated the students, parents and teachers who attended the ceremony.

Following a moment of silence at the ceremony, the National Anthem was sung. Provincial Director of National Education Osman Bozkan made a speech stating the meaning and importance of the day. Then demonstrations were held.

Zonguldak Primary School 1st Grade student Bilge Işıl Örenli, who came to the side of the field even though she did not take part in the demonstrations, accompanied the demonstrations in the field. Even though he had not practiced before, he was able to instantly perform the movements he observed.

Her mother, Gülay Örenli, watched her daughter from the stands. Stating that she is proud of her daughter, Gülay Örenli said, “I hope her success will be discovered in time. We have just arrived. We are trying to reinforce patriotic feelings in her at home. I think she did what she felt like here because of that feeling. She is a child who loves her homeland. She is a happy child. She does what she feels like. She also likes me.” “It made me happy,” he said. – ZONGULDAK
