1600 hay bales burned

According to the information received, the hay bales stacked in the orchard belonging to Ekrem C. in Kılıçören Village of the center started to burn for some reason.

Upon notice, gendarmerie and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the village.

The fire was intervened by Çorum Municipality Fire Department teams.

While the orchard area was not damaged in the fire, which extinguishing and cooling efforts continued until the morning hours, approximately 1,600 hay bales were burned.

An investigation has been initiated into the cause of the fire.
