Within the framework of April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day, which was celebrated with enthusiasm in Aksaray as well as throughout the country, the new governor of the city was Nisa Nur Uzun, a 2nd grade student of 23 Nisan Primary School.
New Governor Nisa Nur Uzun and her assistants Metehan Uğurlu, Yusuf Emir Aslan and Eda Nisa Zengin, together with their teachers Hatice Aydoğdu, took over from Governor Mehmet Ali Kumbuzoğlu.
Governor Uzun, who first hosted his deputies in the governor’s office, said in his first instruction, “A tree should be planted in front of each building. Then, do afforestation in an area determined by the governor’s office. Citizens should have picnics there during holidays and celebrate their holidays.” Governor Uzun then made a phone call to the Forest Management Directorate and asked the directorate’s teams to start afforestation. The little Governor, who wanted to organize a garden for 23 Nisan Primary School as a special request, requested the Directorate of National Education to work on it. (UAV)
