The suspect, who was wanted for intentional murder in Şanlıurfa’s Viranşehir district, was caught with a drone-supported operation organized by police teams.
According to the information obtained, the incident took place in April last year. Abdülkadir Atçı (23), who was waiting in front of his house in Azadi District, lost his life as a result of an armed attack. Police teams launched an investigation after the incident and determined that EY committed the murder.
The teams of Viranşehir Public Order Bureau and Special Operations Branch Directorate, who carried out a drone-supported operation on the Yenice Cluster Houses in Yasa District, where the suspect was staying, caught EY. While the murder suspect was taken to the police station to be questioned, 1 unlicensed gun, 2 magazines and 35 cartridges were seized during the searches.
The investigation of the case is continuing.
