He gave a concert ‘1923 students on April 23’ in Mersin on the occasion of April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day.
Citizens showed great interest in the concert titled ’23 April 1923 Human’, which was held in Cumhuriyet Square under the auspices of Mersin Governorship, in cooperation with the State Classical Turkish Music Choir of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Provincial Directorate of National Education.
At the concert, which was also watched by Governor Ali Hamza Pehlivan and Metropolitan Mayor Vahap Seçer, after 6 months of preparation, 1923 students from various schools in the city gave an open-air concert consisting of 14 works under the direction of conductor Ahmet Baran. Many citizens who filled the square also listened to the concert. (iha)
