The body of the person who disappeared in Diyarbakır was found in the Tigris River with the support of the Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department teams.
A search was launched in and around the Tigris River to find MNA, who had not been heard from since arriving in Diyarbakır from Mardin on April 18.

After receiving the notice, Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department Underwater Search and Rescue teams arrived in the area and supported the search efforts.

MNA’s lifeless body was found in the river approximately 2 kilometers from the historical Ongözlü Bridge. The body removed from the river was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute for autopsy by medical teams.
