ISPARTA – Within the framework of April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day celebrations in Isparta, a folk dance performance was performed by 170 students for the first time.

April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day celebrations continued with enthusiasm in Isparta. In this context, a folk dance show was performed by 170 students for the first time at Şehit Adem Köse primary school. Parents of the students watched the folk dance show performed by 4th grade students with enthusiasm and interest.

Folk dance coordinator Mevlüt Çankal stated that they celebrated this holiday, gifted to children by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, with great enthusiasm in the school with the highest number of students in Isparta and said, “This year, Martyr Adem Köse Primary School. 4th grade students prepared for this holiday. “We had an enthusiastic holiday with our participation,” he said.

Folk dance teacher Yurdagül Gökhan said that they have been preparing for this program for two months. Gökhan said, “We are very happy that we participated in the joy of this holiday with our team. It was a difficult process, but I think we succeeded. We achieved a great success by working one day a week.”
